We won't stop until everything is completed, whether in cooperation with your lawyer or accountant. For us, the process only ends when the legal documents are finalized, all signatures are on the contracts, you see the money in your account, and we've reviewed everything together.

What exactly do you screen for?

We have a few strict criteria that you must meet to complete a financing process with us:

  • A validated business model (no idea or concept)
  • Looking for at least 250,000 in growth funding (no debt financing or working capital)
  • At least 6 months of runway remaining
  • Willing to receive advice throughout your funding process
What does a funding project cost?

Broadly speaking, you can expect approximately 6%-7% of the total funding, split between a fixed start-up cost and a commission. This means we take on part of the risk. However, there is no fixed price, as no funding process is exactly the same. We always provide a customized price based on your situation and needs:

  • What preparation is already in place? (For example, do you already have a financial plan?)
  • Do you already have a network of investors?
  • Are we looking for funding from one party or a mix of financiers?
What if I can't raise funding?

It is true that we do not find suitable funding for a small portion of our processes. That’s why we work partly on commission, so we share the risk. If we are unable to secure funding together, you only pay the start-up costs, which partially cover the administrative aspects of the process.

Isn’t The Harbour just for companies that can't raise traditional financing or are in trouble?

Certainly not. We create a thoroughly substantiated file that increases your chances of success, but your company must be financially healthy to raise money in the first place. Many companies also come to us right away to buy time and negotiate better terms.

Are you taking over everything, or am I keeping part of the control?

We need each other along the way to secure the right deals. We take every step together and work as your wingman. We don't take any actions that we haven't discussed together first.

What if I already have a financial plan or other documentation?

Each process and price is based on the materials you have already prepared. Some entrepreneurs come with their own network but need a strong file to present to their financiers. Other entrepreneurs come without a network but with a fully prepared file. We then match them with financiers until the money is in the account.
