500k to provide even more (inter) national sports clubs with superior fitness equipment

Challenge:
Ajax, Royal Antwerp, Mathieu Van der Poel or Red Lions, STRIDE now has a lot of great names on its record and builds an average of three new gym clubs per week. They don't invest in expensive ads, but they invest in quality and a very unique design. The company's strong growth requires additional funding. Due to the size of the projects and the type of customers, pre-financing creates a temporary cash flow need. STRIDE also wants to further focus on expanding the webshop, more in-house production and internationalization.
Approach:
Because they want to fully focus on further growth, founders Pieter De Porre and Leander Verbraeken come to The Harbour. Together, we prepare their file financially and strategically. We make a realistic analysis of both concrete challenges and funding needs, and write a very convincing pitch together with STRIDE.
The choice is made for bank financing and so we draw up a strong credit file. Thanks to our connections with the right banks and branch holders (who also go the extra mile), we raise 350k from BNP Paribas Fortis. Not only is there a capital injection, but from now on, two permanent bankers are also working on their case. This is how a relationship of trust with the bank grows and there is an excellent follow-up to the file.
Result:
STRIDE currently operates in 9 European countries and has 14 employees. Due to the strong growth and increase in its own production, the company has recently moved to an even larger location. STRIDE is scoring more and more abroad, and has recently added a few big names to its customers. One step ahead in gym creation? Just make it two steps. A new round of funding will therefore not be long in coming.
